Proofs

"To realize something, I need a proof for the same. A solid proof."
"Really? Do you realize that the Pythagorean theorem is true, i.e., the square of the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides in a right triangle?"
"Yes, I realize, I know a simple proof which was given by Pythagoras."
"Ok. Do you need a proof for the statement 'To err is human'?"
"I believe in it without a proof as we cannot avoid some such postulates."
"Then, it might be the case that you made a mistake in understanding the 'wrong' proof given by Pythagoras."
"Wrong proof!? It is a well known simple proof and even if I understood it wrongly, the proof is correct for sure."
"But anybody can make a mistake - Pythagoras, all the academicians and even every human being!"
"I see your point. But then we can noway absolutely be sure that a statement is true or false."
"I would rather say there is no 'absolute correctness'."
